Organized panel on ‘Neurodiversity, Madness, and Disability: Putting Lived Experience at the Forefront’ where I presented on my (2023) paper ‘Body Social Models of Disability: Examining Enactive and Ecological Approaches’ alongside two other philosophers November 2023.
2023 Neurodivergence, Identity and Self-determination: Enhancing understanding and connections event. Co-organizer of concert at UOW. I delivered a keynote address on models of disability based on my (2023) paper ‘Body Social Models of Disability: Examining Enactive and Ecological Approaches’.
This was a public facing event aimed at professionals working with the neurodivergent, parents of neurodivergent children, and neurodivergent individuals themselves to help with post-diagnosis support in helping neurodivergent individuals find and establish their identity, and improve their capacities for self-determination.
